We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Fixed Term Market Data Analyst .

Principal responsibilities
· Maintain a strong relationship with the customer, understanding their business, focus and requirements and providing the optimum solution to meet their needs.
· Ensure services are delivered in a timely fashion following the global processes in place for the end to end delivery.
· Ensure the business is kept aware of their market data costs though management reporting on spend, actual against budget, with detailed explanations for all variances provided.
· A key objective is to regularly review market data usage and cost to ascertain potential cost savings opportunities, through evaluation of unused services, through effective negotiation with vendors or through consolidation and sharing.
· Working within the agreed operating model together with the global market data sourcing team, ensure all market data contracts are negotiated, renewed or cancelled through detailed analysis of usage, requirements and contract value.
· Working closely with the Market Data Processing teams in India, assume responsibility for the monthly allocation of market data costs ensuring accuracy and transparency and also, for the integrity of the Market Data held within the Global Inventory system.
· Ownership for the delivery of market data projects, including product upgrades, vendor product rollouts, cost saving initiatives and various ad hoc projects.
· Manage the data usage from a compliance perspective ensuring all contractual obligations and licenses are adhered to and communicated to the business with effective operational control processes in place.

Desired profile

Requirements
·  Experience in Market Data gained from working in a major financial institution
·  Excellent understanding of market data inventory systems, processes and procedures.
·  Cross asset class experience
·  Good understanding of the commercial terms and conditions of the major market data vendors together with data usage terms
·  Good understanding of the various product offerings from the key market data providers
·  Track record of market data migration project to offshore location
·  Good Team player
·  Strong communication skills
