Role Title: Enterprise Architecture
Business: CTO Shared Services and Cloud

Role Purpose / Description

The Lead Enterprise Architect for Cloud Security (Alibaba) will own the Alibaba Cloud enterprise security engagements providing Alibaba security architecture subject matter expertise including: strategy and direction on architectural design, product solutions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots.
- Review of Cloud Products and Services delivered by Alibaba to ensure that necessary security controls are provided and working with the GCS platform teams to ensure that security on the platform is engineered correctly
- Promote DevSecOps accross the organisation by educating and training regional teams, including within the GB/GFs, to faciliate ability to scale through knowledge sharing
- Understand customers' overall functional and non-functional requirements from a security architecture perspective, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation
- Design and produce Enterprise Security Architectures and solutions for Alibaba and 3rd party solutions running on Alibaba Cloud platform
- Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernisation roadmap and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs security architecture needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments to Alibaba Cloud from a security perspective

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

- Experience of performing a role of a cloud security architect at a large oranisation supporting building the Alibaba cloud platform or working for a Cloud Service Provider in a senior relevant capacity
- Extensive experience of increasing responsibility architecting, positioning and delivering cloud/internet facing applications
- Ability to provide direction and guidance on architectural use cases and requirements
- Ability to produce hardened configuration standards for cloud services
- Threat modelling experience
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript and understanding of software vulnerabilities and vulnerability remediation
- Experience with Cloud formation and Terraform or Ansible
- Excellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies
- Keen understanding of national and international laws, regulations, policies and ethics related to financial industry cybersecurity
- Noted cybersecurity expert, keeping technical skills current and participating in multiple forums
- Expertise in Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks
- Ability to identify network attacks and systemic security issues as they relate to threats and vulnerabilities, with focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation
- Dev-ops and application security & data security experience
- Securing highly available internet banking application
- Solution architecture skills required
- Knowledge of client side applications and micro services architecture
- Experience of working in a large corporate environment
- University degree in a technical discipline
- Preferred Certifications: Alibaba Cloud Certification? Google Certified Engineer / AWS Security certification / Azure Certified will be a plus
