We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Decision Systems Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible for:


· Delivering Decision systems change and approved change requests through use of Decision Systems primarily Powercurve, & Triad. Training will be given on these systems.
· Testing of strategy changes using analytic tools such as SAS / Pivot Tables
· Engage with and show understanding of the business operation in order to recognize and acknowledge change impacts, objectives, priorities, work pressures and constraints.
· To adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls
· Identifies emerging risk issues & suggests possible solutions
· Challenges established policy & procedures, where appropriate
· Conducts timely briefings for team members/ stakeholders on progress of work
· Be an effective team player and lead by example without compromising HSBC values and engage all Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) risk sub functions specifically analytics for delivery of projects.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:


·  Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
·  A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
·  Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
·  Experience of making prompt and practical business decision, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes
·  Planned projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem solving techniques
·  Experience of successful budget management and use of numerical data to assesses and report on performance and/or identify business issues and opportunities

In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have a track record of:

·  Experience of working with SAS, Powercurve, TRIAD, SQL
·  Qualifications/ Experience in coding / statistics / data analysis

The base location for this role is Europe-United Kingdom-West Midlands- Birmingham
