We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join the Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) Risk Team in the role of Credit Systems Analyst. The team is responsible for the development and management of HSBC's risk management framework across all products (i.e. Mortgages, Cards, and Personal Loans), supporting the business and ensuring risk strategies are focussed on maximising portfolio profitability across the full credit spectrum.

Key responsibilities:

· Ensuring that all risk related credit strategy changes and decision system enhancements are effectively scoped, designed, tested and implemented error free and within the given timeframes. Tasks include:
· Understand and translate local acquisition and account management credit risk strategies to regional technical teams
· Coordinate with multiple parties to schedule strategy releases
· Performing User Acceptance Testing on credit strategy changes and credit system related projects
· Communicating change impacts to the relevant business teams
· Perform post implementations checking
· Manage and maintain all project and technical documentation for credit systems ensuring we have updated and accurate technical specifications for all credit related systems
· Build and maintain constructive working relationships with key internal customers
· Work with internal and external parties to implement technical solutions that meet the needs of the RBWM Risk framework
· Manage stakeholders, coordinate testing resources and attain agreement for timelines around project deliverables
· Provide guidance to the RBWM Risk Team as well as Service Delivery, HTS and RBWM on system related issues.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in the role you will need:

·  Tertiary qualifications, preferably in a Statistics/Mathematics/Information Systems or related discipline
·  Minimum 1 year of experience in credit risk management or credit operations in banking/financial services
·  Strong attention to detail.
·  Excellent communication, organisation, time and project management skills
·  Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·  Experience in the use of the following systems is highly beneficial: MAPS / BASE Global / SMG3 / Connect+/ HUB / OSCAR / SAS
·  The ability to bring innovation to problem solving
