We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Client Support Officer .

Principal responsibilities

· Collect relevant information from various sources to enable the Relationship Managers to consider sanction or seek approval for New facilities, Facilities reviews, Adjustments, or Unauthorised over limit exceptions
· Be in regular contact with customers on operational issues and take prompt follow up action on outstanding matters
· Deal independently with telephone enquiries from customers and liaise closely with other HSBC departments and branches in answering or resolving customer queries and issues
· Check the facility letters prepared by Banking Middle Office, ensure the return of acknowledged copies of such letters prior to the expiry date therein and take prompt follow up action on outstanding items
· Support clients on the account opening process through close liaison with Banking Middle Office and Credit Operations Department, and ensure that security requirements have been completed before facility limits are loaded
· Work closely with client managers and relationship managers in the team and support them to complete all KYC process in a timely manner
· Liaise with branches, CPC daily on UOD or ENC items and unposted entries and follow up with customers as necessary
· Check customer and facility related documents and take prompt follow up action on outstanding items and arrange renewal of security documents
· Undertake all required activities as directed by line manager or as agreed in annual objectives in support of the development of the Banking business
· Understand the impact of new initiatives and reengineered processes on their respective client relationships and ensure effective communication of change

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements
·  ​Degree in any related disciplines along with in depth previous experience in Client Support
·  Strong understanding of Banking operations and its products or services, general knowledge of trade, treasury, and payment and cash management products and activities
·  Ability to work independently but also as a team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Problem solving skills and client focused and effective time management and planning skills
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office
·  Fluency in both English and Cantonese
