We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Azure Cloud Solution Architect.


Principal Responsibility
· Understand customers' overall functional and non functional requirements, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation
· Architectures and solutions with Microsoft and third party solutions
· Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernisation roadmap and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, orchestrating key resources and infusing key infrastructure technologies such as Windows and Linux IaaS, Container based solutions, Security, Management, Storage and Networking
· Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long term cloud adoption within the company to enable them to be cloud advocates
· Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights, and share within the technical community
· Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Azure Engineering team to remove key blockers
· Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners and external communities
· Assess the Customers' knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners
· Ensure all relevant architecture governance, policy, and standards are met
· Develop and promote the reuse of patterns
· Assist the Operations team with any high priority technical incidents
· Maintain and manage all customer facing information and knowledge bases for Platform Architecture, Solution Design and key design decisions
· Provide Management reporting to ensure data driven discussions for continuous improvement
· Gather requirements and provide continuous feedback loops between customer and Engineering teams

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Experience and understanding of large scale infrastructure deployments in enterprise wide environments required
·  Expert level of success in consultative and complex technical sales and deployment projects and where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution or projects required
·  Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
·  Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences Senior Executives, IT management and developers
·  Prior work experience in a Consulting or Architecture position within a software and or services company with exposure working within or for Financial Services
·  Experience of working with Continuous Integration CI, Continuous Delivery CD and continuous testing techniques and tools with knowledge and awareness of TerraForm
·  An understanding of Identity and Access management principles and tools
·  An understanding of role based access controls and organisational hierarchies
·  Experience in working in a global cross functional service management team
·  Experience in dealing with multiple support groups that contribute to creating a service
·  Customer and stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global and local IT teams
·  Good leadership and teamwork skills, works collaboratively in an agile environment with Stakeholders to deliver the service.
·  Operational effectiveness, delivers solutions that align to approved design patterns and security, risk and regulatory standards
·  A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
·  Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
·  Excellent written and spoken communication skills such as an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
·  Industry recognised Azure cloud certifications
·  Experience working as an Architect or relevant equivalent
·  Demonstrable knowledge of Risk Management in an enterprise
·  Demonstrable knowledge of Non Functional requirements
·  Experience dealing with IT Audit, Security and Risk
·  Experience working in a global team in an enterprise
·  Have experience managing stakeholders
·  Have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
·  Keen problem solving skills, Analytical and Creative
·  Industry recognised software development and architecture certification
·  Technical knowledge and breadth of Azure technology services with Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Mobile, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI and Machine learning
·  Experience operating in highly regulated industry such as Financial Services You'll achieve more when you join HSBC.
