Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post execution. Its global teams manage settlement activity, risk and control, while ensuring the delivery of regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service across 60 countries.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate, Regulatory Middle Office .

Principal responsibilities
· This role is part of Regulatory Middle office responsible for managing the end to end trade reporting function in a controlled and efficient manner.
· Monitor daily regulatory controls and booking reports, take remedial action where appropriate and record metrics.
· Provide support to the daily reconciliations between the trading systems and the Trade Repository.
· Manage initiatives in response to regulatory and internal small changes.
· Work with technology teams to help determine root cause of issues.
· Understand and explain the technical infrastructure that supports regulatory reporting and suggest improvements.
· Provide training, maintain a log for new joiners and new processes, and support for junior team members.

Desired profile

Requirements
·  Knowledge of the main aspects of HKMA, CFTC, MAS, ASIC and EMIR trade reporting.
·  Previous experience in a risk and control environment within an Investment Bank or Financial Institution.
·  Strong analytical and investigative skills are essential.
·  Rigorous approach to controls and the minimization of operational risk.
·  Technical understanding of how systems deliver regulatory reports.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
