Job description

Role Title: Associate IT Security Analyst
Business: Providing technical solutions to Identity & Access Management business field, and responsible for various aspects of ongoing support and maintenance engagements.

Role Purpose / Description

Identity & Access Management team provides access control and administration functions to deliver IT Security services to Business and IT Departments:

 Access control function includes user profile provisioning, system access permission management, and fire-fight level of emergence access control.

 Access administration function includes user activity review, leaver / mover review, system status review, security key & certificate maintenance.

 Development function includes helping the team streamline process steps, deliver technical & software solution / automations to IAM business field, and perform various assignments on different parts of projects.

The objective of the service is to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets residing in Data Centers. Our users/clients over entire HSBC group where from Branches, Back offices, GB&M, IT in Asia Pacific, UK, US and other regions. The team works closely with IT / IT Operation, and other relevant Development / Support parties.

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

 Solid IT & software development knowledge & background are required.
 Expected to work independently with very limited support from other staff.
 Positive attitude to learn and flexible to work; keep up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies.
 Understand complex logic and capable to amend it within set timescales which is consistently error free.
 Write clean and healthy structured, well documented code; build future-proof reusable core code libraries, which can be shared, in-order to drive further efficiencies throughout the team.
 Design and build database schemas with integrity and scalability with data access layers that are optimized for performance and security.
 Synchronize the training & practice to operation team's pace, ensure or update developed internal system utilities & software are met the last standard & requirement from different fields.
 Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English are required.
 Strong will to fulfill responsibilities and capable working under stress and pressure. All projects must be delivered before deadline without controversy; therefore, assignments require proficient technical skills and innovative minds.
