Global Service Delivery


Within HSBC Operations, Services and Technology, Global Service Delivery is a leader in the development of services and processes that are designed around the customer and enable the firm to demonstrate to regulators that its processes and ways of working will deliver consistently high standards of compliance. Every day, customers all over the world are paying bills, buying homes and setting up companies and every day, Global Service Delivery teams are making sure all this happens smoothly.

Role Purpose


We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. In this role, you will:

Impact on the Business/Function

· Assist in the development & revision of content
· Content amendment, translations (including initial work, review, signoff, rework)
· Consistent delivery of Screening Utility Operations (Payment Screening and Name Screening) training within FCR Operations technical training courseware
· Deliver training programs aligned to the annual training calendar and to the Global Education, FCR Operations Strategy

· Adherence to training plan
· Beta period performance
· Trainer Observation

Customers / Stakeholders

· Provide high quality & effective training within given timeframes
· Provide post training support by tracking class performance against learning curve targets
· Implement remediation, upskill classes and other interventions as part of continuous improvement
· Provide up to date reporting after each class facilitated

· Adherence to training plan
· Timely delivery of interventions
· MI reporting

Leadership & Teamwork

· Coach & mentor trainees ensuring readiness in delivering to the level of performance required
· Alignment with team members, onshore & Global Education in delivery method and content
· Actively promote self-development and the usage of the different learning channels

Operational Effectiveness & Control

· Ensure employees adhere to the established operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies, especially given the regulatory implications associated with FCR operations.
· Ensure all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring and address any areas of concern in conjunction with operations management and/or the appropriate department.
· Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators

· Clear risk-based QC standards/ advice documented.
· Review audit reports, compliance reviews, IRIS etc and QC controls within the operational risk database and take appropriate action regarding any significant exceptions
· Evidence of close collaboration with BRCM/Risk control infrastructure. Nil high risk or repeat audit finding and Nil instances of regulatory exposure.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

·  Organize, facilitate and deliver high quality and effective technical & soft-skills training
·  Objectives within the specified timelines
·  4-6 years of training and domain expertise
·  Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods, such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops
·  Conduct coaching sessions to enhance the communication skills and personal effectiveness of the trainees
·  Develop strong relationships with all departments to gain knowledge of work situations and identify the training requirement
·  Demonstrate ownership and logical approach to activities undertaken, working collaboratively with the trainers and team managers to ensure training conducted effectively as per the schedule
·  Identify ways of improving customer service by adding value in line with strategic goals and objectives
·  Drive and monitor delivery of all learning solutions to ensure quality and standards are maintained at all times for all target level audiences
·  Identification and prioritization of specialized content creation, delivery mode and effectiveness measures to enhance the training method
