Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager Documentation .

Principal responsibilities
· Lead and guide the Trade Team in delivering trade products service in accordance with Global Trade and Receivables Finance turnaround and quality standards
· Assist in growing market share of Trade and maximizing net profitability from customer portfolio in the respective division by devising and implementing regular review programs on customers transaction pattern, turnover volume, facility utilization, as well as proactive marketing and relationship-building with customers
· Increase the operational efficiency and productivity of the team by planning and coordinating regular reviews of operations and systems to streamline workflow and procedures
· Manage, motivate and develop staff within the team by planning, implementing and monitoring internal career development programme, as well as organizing technical training and services and sales training for team member
· Initiate, implement and monitor cross-selling and cross-referral initiatives of trade and non-trade business products and proactively promote Intra-group business

Qualifications :

Requirements
·  Tertiary educated with solid import and export trade related knowledge and experience
·  General banking experience in addition to trade experience would be an advantage
·  Detail-conscious and customer-focused with good interpersonal and communication skills
·  Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
·  Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
·  A self-starter, motivated, and willingness to work under pressure and irregular working hours
