We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

· Implement Global/Regional projects or initiatives required for HSS to ensure the consistency of global governance for China HSS
· Facilitate the new products or services implementations; liaise with risk stewards prior to submitting proposals to New Products/Services Approval Forum to seek approvals.
· Deliver guides and training on new policies or rules in the securities market to the teams
· Guide relevant teams to update the internal procedures for the launch of new policies or changes
· Coordinate for the HSS Graduate Programme; arrange the internal and international rotations for MTs of each batch; liaise with stakeholders to monitor the progress and performance of MTs
· Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC Global Standards and other internal control standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
· Foster a compliance culture and implement Global Standard and Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with Group FCC/RC, Regional FCC/RC, and Local FCC/RC Officers, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimizing relations with regulators. Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with the relevant section of the GSM and Group Operations FIM.
· Key to this role is the interaction with internal staff (local and regional HSS, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Operational Risk and Audit staff) and external entities (e.g. auditors, regulators etc.)

Qualifications :

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·  Thorough understanding of China securities markets from a structural, operational and regulatory perspective.
·  Experience in the China financial market- custody and funds management.
·  Good command of English in speaking and writing
·  Strategic thinker, engaging personality, confident in front of key stake holders, clients, good presenter, proven organizer and administrator.
·  Proven negotiation and engagement skills.
·  Very strong analytical and problem solving skills – capable of handling complex technical issues which often require cooperation and co-ordination between multiple parties.
·  Advanced Excel skills.
·  Sound knowledge of prevailing systems, processes, and market and regulatory requirements.
·  Goal oriented, with an ability to build and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with others.
