Established in 1993, Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (“HSVM”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank Limited, and is one of the largest Hong Kong homegrown asset management companies. HSVM specializes in Hong Kong and China markets and is committed to offering retail and institutional investors with a comprehensive range of investment products including ETFs, index tracking funds, actively-managed equities and fixed income funds, retirement funds, as well as institutional and corporate portfolios.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Analyst, Fixed Income.

Principal responsibilities

· Conduct bottom-up fundamental research on credit and relevant fixed income instruments and make recommendations to fixed income team

· Conduct top-down macroeconomic analysis on relevant countries, markets, and sectors

· Provide support to product, sales and marketing teams on market updates and relevant client servicing activities

· Maintain smooth operations with stringent monitoring procedures and high standard of compliance

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  University degree in Finance or a related discipline.

·  Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experiences in fixed income markets in reputable and established financial institutions. Lesser experience may be considered subject to overall assessment.

·  Experience in financial modeling and financial statement analysis

·  Knowledge of investment compliance and risk management

·  Good interpersonal and communication skills

·  Possess a high level of self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and under pressure

·  Proficiency in spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin

·  Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service
