Global Service Delivery

Role Purpose

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. In this role, you will:

· Provide strong credit support to the GB Relationship manager (RM) teams by producing high quality credit applications in a timely manner
· Understand cash flow, balance sheet, income statements to determine credit worthiness and produce written financial analysis
· Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk and outline specific Risks and Mitigants
· Research and assess current industry environments and develop industry analysis reports
· Manage a portfolio of GBM clients by coordinating workflow of annual reviews, new monies, and other loan related activities
· Possess competent knowledge of the variety of banking products offer to our GBM clients
· Ability to adapt credit write-up to complex loan requests including, but not limited to, real estate development loans, syndicated loans, and loan restructures
· Perform post-approval functions such as financial covenant maintenance and condition of approval follow-ups
· Maintenance and preparation of CARM application
· Prioritise and schedule time effectively to meet all deadlines. Anticipate problems and difficulties and is flexible in revising contingencies accordingly
· Teamwork – Co-operate and work well with team in the pursuit of business aims. Enable and support a sense of team spirit, encouraging an environment of open communication and the sharing of information
· Understands HSBC group strategy, how the business is structured and organized, engages effectively with colleagues across businesses and products and works collaboratively in a global context

Desired profile

·  University Post-Graduates / Masters (degrees in Finance / Economics /Commerce /Accountancy)
·  CFA and other reputed professional finance course preferred but not required
·  2-3 years of relevant work experience
·  Knowledge of credit analysis and financial modeling
·  Good knowledge of financial and credit modeling
·  Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
·  Highly proficient at Excel, PowerPoint and Word
·  Strong accounts, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
·  Good at multitasking; Eye for detail
·  Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
