We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:


• The creation of the Client Management Group is the latest step in making HSBC a more client focused, faster moving bank, better able to grow profitably. This new closer collaboration between teams simplifies the way we work, and supports the implementation of global standards.

• Client Management Group is responsible for supporting Global Banking Relationship Managers in global client onboarding and the on-going management & oversight of due diligence activities through the full client lifecycle with HSBC on behalf of Global Banking & Markets both as a customer group and product provider.

Job responsibility covers the following:

This role is to support country-level data workstreams.

· Facilitating analysis of critical Data undertaken
· Understand the data capture process and associated controls, identifying opportunities for streamlining and standardisation
· Documentation of reference data, data quality control points and data quality issues
· Identification of data quality control gaps and suggest opportunities to improve in target state design

Support to wider GBM Data Programme objectives including:

· Data Quality Issue Management
· Facilitating implementation of Data Policy
· Ongoing BAU maintenance of Dataflow and lineage
· Observation of Internal Controls (Compliance Policy / FIM requirements)
· Compliance to the Regulatory Requirements
· Adherence to compliance timelines agreed with Global and local Regulators
· Adherence to Group Data Management Policies

Support reporting related to client life cycle management

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Technical Skill Requirements
• Requirements gathering and prioritisation techniques
• Facilitation techniques during requirements gathering, identifying Change Recipients and checkpoints
• MS Office

Educational Requirements
• Educated to degree level or equivalent from Information Technology, Economics and Finance
• Experience with Business Analysis in Financial Services
• Knowledge of financial markets

Personal Skill Requirements
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Able to present complex problems in a straightforward manner

Experience
• 2-3 years working in a Business Analysis role in financial services
• Working within regulatory projects
• Business Analysis experience relating to Basel Committee on Banking Supervision would be advantageous
• Working on a global project or programme
• Experience within Data Management projects and programmes

Languages:
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
