Advisory Platform Analyst

Job description

This individual is responsible for supporting the Advisory Manager in maintaining the risk management analytics tool as well as smooth functioning of the day-to-day related activities.

This individual will coordinate with global and local product teams, vendors and IT and provide support to the Investment team.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions :

· Maintain the process of local fulfillment lists
· Maintain the data process of discretionary models
· Maintain the data process of reference portfolios
· Liaise with the Structured Product specialist to set up new/proposed Structured Products in a timely manner to allow Investment Counselors (ICs) to solicit
· Liaise with local and global Alternatives team to ensure new deals are set-up properly and data template is up to date
· Act as liaison between ICs/Relationship Managers (RMs), IT and vendor when resolving asset issues regarding asset classification, risk calculations
· Act as liaison between ICs/RMs, IT and vendor when resolving account/sub-account issues
· Drive implementation of enhancements to the vendor system in US
· Maintain asset classification implementation
· Become portfolio construction / system subject matter expert to help ICs with preparing investment proposals and portfolio reviews

Qualifications :

·  High level of professional and personal integrity
·  High Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel etc)
·  Strong analytical skills and very organized
·  Attention to details and strong at following through
·  Very resourceful, ability to get up to speed quickly and multi-task
·  Undergraduate degree in finance or business
·  Some project management experience preferable
·  Basic understanding of statistics, modern portfolio theory, and main asset classes (bonds, equities, alternative investments) for PB. Ideally has started the CFA process (has passed level I)
