We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Actuary, IFRS 17 CSM Platform.

Principal Responsibilities

The CSM Platform work-stream is a multi-disciplinary team comprising actuaries, project managers and business analysts and works closely with the actuarial and finance functions of each of the entities in-scope. Key responsibilities will include:

· Support the design, delivery and roll-out of a group wide CSM Platform
· Develop suitable data management tools to enable the calculation of the IFRS CSM
· Implement CSM calculations in line with the requirements received considering both the Standard and company policies
· Interface with different work streams to receive data and provide results
· Advance the company's work flow management tool to automate the future reporting process going forward.

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Nearly or newly qualified actuary with an internationally recognised actuarial body
·  Good understanding and ideally first-hand experience of IFRS17 including an understanding of the mechanics of how the Contractual Services Margin works
·  Sound understanding of insurance modelling methodologies and techniques, including liability modelling, ESGs and ALM, capital modelling, projections
·  Strong model development skills, ideally with experience in a range of different programming and coding languages
·  Ability to communicate information in a clear, confident and structured manner to all levels within the programme.
·  Good knowledge of insurance products, regulations and financial reporting
·  Experience of developing and implementing enterprise risk management
·  Ability to speak French, Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin would be an advantage To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Hong Kong is required.
