Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Global Tax organization, with its largest presence in Plano, TX, has a position available on the Federal Income Tax Compliance & Provision team.  This key role is critical to the analysis and reporting of our best-in-class tax structure and effective tax rate.  This role will be part of a high-performing team which leads all aspects of federal taxation. 

The HPE Tax group provides unique exposure to complex, cutting edge global tax issues. We have developed a global tax strategy to support our rapidly growing businesses.  You will be a key part of the federal income tax group, providing compliance, consulting and tax provision services.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in special projects, support audits, and build productive working relationships within and without the company.

This position will be involved in:

·  Federal income tax provision analysis (quarterly & annual), including calculating tax adjustments, credits, deferred proofs, and attribute reconciliations
·  Federal income tax compliance including tax adjustments calculations, form preparation, provision to return calculations, and required statements and disclosures.
·  Various tax planning activities and research including estimated tax forecasts and other projects that involve a high degree of complexity
·  Researching and concluding on complex tax technical issues
·  Working across different functions and levels within the organization

Qualifications/Requirements:

·  2 to 5 years federal income tax experience with a multinational company or public accounting firm
·  Licensed CPA (or ready to sit for the CPA exams) or JD strongly preferred/required
·  Excellent project management, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
·  CorpTax experience a plus
