The Edgeline/Moonshot quality team is seeking an experienced qualified Test Engineer with experience in the computer technology field.

In a typical day as a Test Engineer, you would

·  Engage in validation activities throughout various stages of the product management life cycle (Development, Validation, Deployment, and Sustaining).
·  Demonstrate strong technical and collaborative skills.
·  Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage competing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced fluid environment.
·  Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
·  This position requires considerable flexibility, patience, and persistence when dealing with multiple and changing priorities and schedules. The Test Engineer will be expected to work in a team environment that values team success as well as individual accomplishments.
·  The Test Engineer will work closely with Highly Experienced Technical Leads, Quality, Hardware, and Software project managers in the industry in order to assure high customer satisfaction with the Moonshot / Edgeline products
·  Effectively and efficiently execute detailed validation procedures across various hardware and software products.
·  Identify and document variances between expected and actual results in the validation procedures.
·  Assist in the debug of defects found during the validation process.
·  Effectively work and communicate with other team members in a global environment.
·  Identify and communicate potential efficiencies in validation processes.
·  Constantly learn and demonstrate competencies in new technologies, products, and solutions.
·  Work on multiple tasks in parallel with competing and changing priorities.
·  Be self-motived and self-learning in the area of computer and network technology from various sources such as other engineers, documentation or online sources.
·  Aid in the design validation procedures to test and evaluate systems, equipment, and devices based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements.
·  Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced testing and development partners regarding testing status, project progress, test results, and issue resolution.
·  Assist other Test Engineers and internal and outsourced testing partners to execute reliable, cost-effective and high-quality test solutions for moderately-complex products.
·  Support the other engineering teams for all phases of larger and more- complex development projects.
·  Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced team members.

If you are…

·  B.E/B.Tech/MCA (Full Time) with 3 to 6 years relevant experience.
·  Strong understanding of various computer HW and SW technologies.
·  Ability to precisely perform detailed validation procedures.
·  Working knowledge of Windows and Linux.
·  Strong drive for accomplishing tasks in a quality manner.
·  Possess a high sense of urgency.
·  Ability to seek help when needed.
·  Ability to receive guidance when needed.
·  Using testing tools and software packages to automate test processes.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.
·  Using empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate testing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
