Job Description:

   

Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to the customers of the department. Performs full supervision of Operations staff. This Role will require to work in EMEA/US Shift

KEY SKILLS

·  Windows Server Administration
·  Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration

·  Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or other automation systems
·  Cyber Security and Secure Administration of Servers
·  Windows PowerShell, bash shell, Perl, Ruby, Python

Responsibilities:

·  Supporting Windows Server Environment – such as AD Domain, Group Policy, File server, Server Security/Patching
·  Active directory maintenance and monitoring as needed
·  3rd Level Support for Windows OS and Application
·  Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
·  Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
·  Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
·  Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
·  Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
·  Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
·  Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
·  Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and/or Windows based environments.
·  Experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (i.e. IIS, Tomcat, Apache, NGINX, etc.)
·  Experience with virtualization and containerization (i.e. VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, RHEV,)
·  Advanced experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti, etc)
·  Advanced experience with automation software (i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
·  Advanced scripting skills (i.e. Windows PowerShell, bash shell, Perl, Ruby, Python)
·  Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
·  Experience with Public Cloud, preferably AWS or Azure

Education and Experience Required:

·  Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Experience Administrating Windows AD and Domain Servers
·  Experience with mixed operating systems (e.g. Windows, VMware ESXi, Linux).
·  Experience with Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
·  Experience with Virtualization and Storage Systems
