In the Global Operations Group, we deliver superior experience to our customers and partners making Operations a source of competitive advantage for HPE, in close partnership with Global Sales.  The Supply Chain business unit defines high-impact, long-term digital supply chain architecture strategies at the global, regional and operational level. We establish and manage cross-functional, cross-regional teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain capabilities, network design and architecture strategies.

We have an exciting career opportunity for Supplier / Procurement Engineer to join the team and foster closer business relationships with partners and drive overall excellence in the Global Supply Chain organization.

Responsibilities:

·  Manage the business relationship with HPE’s Outsource Manufacturing Partner (Regional Service Provider )
·  Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, track and manage Business Metrics for the organization (may include order cycle time from clean order to ship (CTS), on-time shipment base on first commit to customer (STFA), number of order recommits, materials waiting time, production cycle time (TAT), process audits, and account management).
·  Lead cross-functional teams within APJ sites to work with Global team on Regional RFQ and Statement of Work (SOW).
·  Represent APJ in WW Monthly Interlocks and Quarter Business Reviews (QBR).
·  APJ Lead on process standardization and alignment with WW and AMS/EMEA Regional teams.
·  Drive Monthly Interlocks and QBRs to ensure the Partner - Regional Service Provider (RSPs) are able to meet the Business Metrics, ensure root cause analysis for metric failure, and resolve any escalations.
·  Lead process audits and alignments at Partner to ensure compliance and continuous process improvement.
·  Resolve any PO EDI fallouts due to pricing discrepancies.
·  Manage monthly billing with Partner and accrual with HPE Finance.
·  Conduct monthly billing audits using available reports and on-site audits as needed to ensure accuracy of billings.
·  Provide NPI and Partner with estimated Labour Overheads (LOHP) costing per product platform.
·  Work with RSP on regional specific “transfer documents” as part of Contract (BA/OMA) as needed.
·  Participate in projects with HPE’s cross functional team and Partner (e.g. Kaizen, Process Improvement, etc) to ensure continuous processes improvement to achieve best in class supply chain.
·  Act as Procurement Manager for 3rd Party Option (3PO) parts and review/approve 3PO quotes via Quote Validation tool (QBERT).
·  Partners with stakeholders to identify/implement opportunities for business process improvement to effectively manage costs, integrate new and existing businesses, and adapt to changes in the business and regulatory/trade compliance environment.

Education and Experience Required:

·  Bachelor degree from recognized university
·  Possess 5-8 years of experience in a supply chain function or related field (e.g. Engineering, Project Management, Business Management)
·  Prior experience in more than one supply chain function will be highly advantageous
·  Prior experience in managing suppliers and partners will be highly advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver)
·  Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, data modeling, and problem-solving skills for making key business decisions
·  Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling
·  Excellent project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies.
·  Thorough knowledge of inventory modeling and analysis
·  Strong collaboration skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management
·  Good understanding of supply chain financial cost modeling and resourceful in enabling costs savings in regional such as China, Japan and Singapore
·  Possess strong organization skills and mindset with ability to analyze large volume of data quickly and accurately
·  Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
