The SQL Developer provides organizations on Pointnext level with complex analytical tools, in-depth analysis and participates in improvement projects as part of the core team or trusted advisor. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

·  Develops and improves advanced tools
·  Implements changes, owns communication, improvement and support to users for business intelligence tools and dashboards assigned (based on internal deliverables tracker)
·  Participates as a member of development team or teams and may lead a small development team within a project
·  Develops independently; participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews. May lead and provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers.
·  Designs, prepares and executes tests (e.g. user stories, etc.)
·  Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas (e.g. BI dashboards, reporting infrastructure, database, etc.).
·  Independently implements end-user or enterprise solutions complexity or services prepared by more senior technologists for more complex solutions (when and if needed)
·  Extracting raw data from various database sources (SDIG, SFDC, etc.)
·  If needed ad-hoc - generating and maintaining reports, scorecards, etc. in different formats e. g. Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.
·  Provides analysis of trends of operational excellence KPIs by generating in-depth root cause analysis (e.g. when performance not meeting the targets)
·  May lead trainings for colleagues or internal customers                                                                                    
·  Building deep technical knowledge in database design to optimize reporting and analysis
·  Provides advanced data quality control (data accuracy checks)   

Requirements:

·  Typically (but not limited to) a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
·  Fluent in written and verbal English
·  SQL programming skills
·  Experience on one or more full release project life cycles is an advantage
·  Basic understanding of testing tools and unit and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies.
·  Experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., MS Visual Studio, etc.).
·  Strong understanding basic Database Administration. Able to apply consistently quality and security standards.
·  Good verbal and written communication skills.
·  Experience in Project Management (project team member) - participation in improvement projects or leading optimization initiatives is a plus
·  Detail oriented person – ability to check the accuracy of large amounts of data
·  Advanced problem solving skills via strong analytical thinking and solution focus
·  Multi tasking - ability to work with multiple priorities
·  Proactive – proactive and result driven attitude, prepare for future issues/tasks in advance, self-starter
·  Excellent organization skills and experience to work with tight deadlines
·  Team player - ability to cooperate and collaborate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team
·  Very good communication skills (written and verbal)
·  Good/Advanced presentation skills (virtual and face-to-face)
·  QlikView / QlikSense development
·  Power BI developement
·  Knowledge of relational databases principles
·  SSMS (Management Studio) is an advantage
·  Business Object Enterprise (BOE) is an advantage
·  MS Office Proficiency
·  Expert Excel skills formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting etc.
·  Macro creation and VBA knowledge is an advantage
·  Advanced MS Access is an advantage
