HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates for a Security Architect.   In this role, you will provide architectural guidance to development teams around implementation of cloud-based services and best practices for cloud deployments.  You'll work with the teams spanning all of HPE to design and deliver our Hybrid Cloud solutions.  We’re not learning a new way of doing things – we’re defining the best way to do them.

Cloud Architect will be strong in:

Cloud Trust : High-Level expertise in design, configuration and deployment of PaaS and IaaS services supporting hybrid cloud solutions in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

Technical breadth – Advanced experience with public cloud, hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations and technology management, with emphasis on architectural definition/analysis and information security.

Subject matter expertise in three or more of the following:

  

How you’ll make your mark:

·  Experience in architecting complex Enterprise-grade solutions in on-premises and cloud environments.
·  Configuration and deployment experience in public cloud IaaS and PaaS technologies.
·  Security review processes such as STRIDE or Architectural Threat Analysis.
·  Experience in consulting on security controls in cloud-based architectures.
·  The successful candidate for this role will have strong communications skills and a proven track record of design of cloud-computing IaaS and PaaS, with emphasis on architectural analysis and information security .
·  Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
·  Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent experience.
·  Perform analysis of security controls in cloud computing environments.
·  Co-author architectural specifications with emphasis on security controls.
·  Lead or support Architectural Threat Analysis reviews.
·  Collaborate in Security Incident Response processes.
·  Coordinating compliance with security requirements at the corporate, Federal, and International levels.
·  Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
·  Provide domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
·  Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
·  Provide guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
·  Perform analysis of security controls in cloud computing environments.
·  Co-author architectural specifications with emphasis on security controls.
·  Lead or support Architectural Threat Analysis reviews.
·  Collaborate in Security Incident Response processes.
