HPE currently has an opening for a dynamic Sales Specialist.  This roles is structured within the Hybrid IT business unit & champions HPE’s industry leading hyperconverged infrastructure portfolio.   This role is be based in Sydney & works across our CBD & Rhodes offices.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Leverage your Data Centre & HCI expertise to seek out new opportunities & expand & enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in & drive pursuit
·  Prospecting, negotiating & closing deals (new & existing logos)
·  Cultivate & maintain positive relationships with customers up to C level to ensure account retention & growth, & positions the company as the preferred vendor for meeting all business needs
·  Maintain knowledge ofhyperconverged infrastructure (HCI)competitors in accounts to strategically position HPE’s products & services
·  Collaborate with management & sales teams in shared accounts to ensure seamless integration of sales with other sales activities
·  Leverage external partners & alliances to deliver sales
·  Development of quota objectives & future direction for HPE HCI & Composable technology
·  Maintain expertise of industry trends, associated solutions, & key partner/ISV solutions - Virtualisation/Cloud – Vmware, Hyper V & Citrix
·  Maintain expertise on IT at all levels – new applications, maintenance, typical budgets of the CIO’s, typical objectives, measures, metrics

Skills & Experience Required:

·  A minimum of 8 years IT sales experience with a track record in achieving &/or exceeding sales targets
·  Extensive selling experience within the Data Centre industry
·  2-3 years of product sales in Storage, Virtualisation, Data protection software or compute
·  Strong knowledge in Data centres, storage, virtualisation or compute
·  Sound knowledge of Nutanix, VSAN Hyperflex or Vxrail offerings
·  Abilty to demonstrate experience in driving a cross functional virtual team
·  Understands the industry & market segment in which key accounts are situated, & can demonstrate consultative selling
·  Ability to drive a TCO & ROI sales campaign
·  Account planning & accurate account revenue forecasting skills
