The Nimble Storage CASL file system QA team is looking for an experienced Sr. QA Manager to lead and maintain quality standards for our products through the use of systematic processes.In this role you will develop, modify, and execute software test strategies, plans and suites.

Responsibilities:

·  Provide direction and supervision to the team of Engineers responsible for performance and storage testing of CASL file system.
·  Planning and scoping of projects needing coordination amongst multiple teams and organizations.
·  Work closely with cross functional teams, including product management, development and support team.
·  Championing, testing and maintaining high quality software releases.
·  Lead and track QA projects and initiatives. Develop resource plans and schedules.
·  Influence, commit, and deliver on product roadmap projects and initiatives
·  Help scaling efficient engineering processes. Split this from top line as its different item.
·  Retain and scale the organization for future growth. Merge this with above line as they are overlapped.
·  Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to engineers on regular basis to drive productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

·  BS or equivalent degree in computer science/electronics/telecommunication. (Can use degree abbreviations here.)
·  Industry experience delivering enterprise class data storage products.
·  Must be passionate about customer experience and quality.
·  Proven expertise in software testing and project management.
·  In-depth knowledge to solve broad issues that are complex in scope.
·  Solid communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills and must be comfortable working in a very dynamic and collaborative work environment.
·  Passionate about technology and quality

Experience:

·  8-10+ years of experience in storage, network, scalability and/or systems environments.
·  Have proven record managing QA teams for at least 3-5 years.
·  Experience managing high caliber engineers.
·  Ideal candidate will need to be hands on and have a strong technical background.
·  Prior background testing enterprise storage arrays ideally with iSCSI/FC protocols and highly beneficial to have a strong understanding of network storage protocols such as iSCSI, FC, snapshots, cloning, replication
·  Experience with Linux, Windows, Virtualization environments, QA processes, test planning, execution and reporting
·  Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; or equivalent work experience.
