In a typical day as a QA Engineer, you would be

Support to create effective test design, test cases to identify, debug issues and effectively communicate, document as it relates to overall BIOS firmware quality. The position includes working with the latest in hardware and software technology and provides excellent opportunities to gain a wide breadth of experience.

The position involves testing all aspects of the ProLiant server early boot, hardware initialization, pre-boot environment and UEFI standard compliance like function/component, system, performance, regression. The qualified candidate will work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management. This involves setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases. The person will need to provide feedback and ensure product quality is of highest level.

B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA Candidates

Typically 3 - 6 years of experience.

If you have …

Good understanding of x86 server design, pre-boot and bare metal provisioning

Exposure working in UEFI BIOS, qualifying device drivers, hardware standards like PCIe, USB, I2C etc.,

Strong Knowledge of scripting in python, shell

Knowledge of test methodologies

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent documentation skills.

Analytical skills and attention to details

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
