The Networking, IoT and Mobility Lab at Hewlett Packard Labs focuses on improving enterprise solution, data-center and cloud network, and intelligent edge technologies. We do this by advancing research in edge intelligence, emerging IoT / enterprise applications, edge big-data analytics, and 5G networks. If you join Hewlett Packard Labs you will have an opportunity to work with top researchers working on a common vision, but at diverse levels. We encourage collaboration with top universities, partner companies and customers.

We are devoted to the fundamental research, as well as applied research, that advance the state-of-the-art technology while driving significant business impact. Our research areas of interest include (but are not limited to):

·  Edge computing and analytics with ML / DL
·  Multi-access edge computing for 5G
·  Mobile and multi-media networking
·  Enterprise wireless networks (mmWave, high-density networks)
·  Mobile security (for applications, platform, system, or network)
·  IoT and Software defined networking

Education and Experience:

·  Currently pursuing a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or statistics)
·  Experience framing, executing, and communicating research achievements (e.g., via papers published in top-tier conferences or journals), as well as building substantial artifacts that validate your research and seed technology transfer
·  Ability to work independently and in teams
·  Experience making presentations, verbal and written, to key stakeholders
·  Strong mathematical background including building systems and algorithms
·  Desire to learn new techniques to solve problems.
