Team Overview

The HPE Foundation and Community Investment team deploys skills, resources, and technology to address social challenges and advance the way people live and work. Our approach is to amplify the impact of our team members, accelerate social impact in the digital age, and activate our resources to support the communities where we live and work.

Internship Program

Our program is designed to mentor and develop talented individuals with strong leadership potential and strategic thinking capability. We are looking for energetic, highly motivated individuals who are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s level (or equivalent) degree. As an intern you will work with a variety of our staff on projects that will help contribute to our community investment initiatives. The intern’s responsibilities may vary based on the demands within the department.

The Internship is a 10-week project-based assignment that may include:

· 
Developing content and strategy for global network of HPE Gives Champions, including survey development and analysis, conducting feedback sessions and focus groups

· 
Assisting with implementing employee engagement opportunities, including the drafting of internal communications

· 
Updating internal communication vehicles (e.g., website content) to showcase philanthropic initiatives

· 
Identifying opportunities to highlight HPE Foundation initiatives or grantees externally or at in-person/virtual events

· 
Assisting with HPE Foundation initiatives, including Community Impact Grants and disaster relief

· 
Additional opportunities in related projects

Requirements

· 
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with expected graduation after May 2021. Preferred coursework: international development, social justice, social entrepreneurship, business (social responsibility), sociology

· 
Experience interfacing with customers and global audiences

· 
Experience with project management, writing, communication, and research
