HPC Accelerator Specialist is required for qualifying and enabling different accelerator options on HPE servers.

Job Responsibilies:

·  Development, testing and release of GPGPUs and FPGA Firmware and Driver - smart update packages for Linux, Windows and VMware.
·  Own qualification and release of engineering drop firmware and drivers for GPGPUs and FPGA both for NPI (New Product Introduction) and sustenance.
·  Maintain online repositories meant for GPGPUs and FPGA driver deployment. 
·  Handle Level-3 support for GPGPUs and FPGA. Interact with Level-2 support teams, account representatives and customers as needed.
·  Support internal Engineering teams (Qualification labs, IST test teams etc) on GPGPUs and FPGA issues. Provide assistance on requests associated with Proof of Concept activities, topology advice etc.
·  Support ODMs in signal integrity and integration of accelerators.
·  Create Engineering Advisories as necessary to support accelerator devices.
·  Design, develop, enhance and maintain the diagnostics tool kits for accelerators.

Skills Required: 

·  Good exposure to hardware testing and methodologies is a must.
·  Good understanding of Linux and Windows platforms is required.
·  Excellent Scripting Knowledge (Shell, Perl and Python).
·  Programming exposure to C, C++, CUDA, OpenGL, OpenCL is desired.
·  Working knowledge of ESXi Virtual environment.
·  Good understanding of Software development lifecycle and methodology.
·  Hands on experience with accelerators highly desired.
·  Experience in configuring and troubleshooting accelerators and running workloads is a plus.
·  Knowledge of high performance computing (HPC) stack components and infrastructure desired.
·  Basic understanding of AI frameworks like TensorFlow, Caffe, etc and its usage with accelerators would be a big plus.
·  Ability to work with multiple internal teams and interact with customers/partners.
·  Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time, related to accelerator support cases, handling product releases and creating technical advisories.
·  Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
·  Ability to work well in team environment, take on challenges, comfortable and effective working on new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving.
