Hewlett Packard Labs is looking for a creative and energetic co-op student to join our business operations and strategy team.  Working alongside the head of operations, you will work on projects that operationalize strategic initiatives across our governance, business, finance, and planning groups that will help the business run more efficiently.   The position requires an individual who is open to wearing different hats and learning different skills across these groups.  Sample projects will include automating the creation of Key Performance Indicators to measure the organization’s progress, assist in creating and implementing financial processes, analyze budgets and project manage the project review process within the Labs.  Self-starting and motivation are key as the assigned projects will provide a unique opportunity to work with world-class researchers to learn about cutting-edge technologies and drive an innovation narrative for an iconic R&D organization. 

Education and Experience:

· 
Pursing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related degree

· 
0 – 2 years of experience and/or participation in meaningful extracurricular activities

· 
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with a fast-paced team

· 
Experience making presentations (verbal and written) to key stakeholders

· 
Experience performing data analysis tasks such as gathering, compiling, and reporting data, utilizing Excel spreadsheets with macros, pivot tables

· 
Experience with MS Office. Any expertise with Sharepoint a plus

· 
Willingness to learn new technologies

· 
Ability to work individually as well as in a team.

· 
Demonstrated high levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities

· 
Demonstrated self-motivation and leadership qualities

· 
Ability to work with ambiguity

· 
Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.

This position has the capability to be fully remote. If the HPE offices reopen, the selected student would have the option to come into either the Milpitas, CA or Ft Collins, CO office, but this would not be required.
