HPE Hybrid Cloud Software & Services is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates for a Distinguished Cloud Strategist / Architect. This is a Chief Architect role you will be leading a set of architects working on various aspects of the hybrid cloud which includes public as well as private cloud services. You will be providing strong architectural guidance to development teams around implementation of services and best practices for hybrid cloud deployments. You'll work with the teams spanning all of HPE to design and deliver our Hybrid Cloud solutions. We’re not learning a new way of doing things – we’re defining the best way to do them.

About The Cloud Strategist

HPE Hybrid Cloud Software & Services is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates for a Cloud Strategist. This is a Chief Architect role, where you will be leading a set of architects working on various aspects of the hybrid cloud which includes public as well as private cloud services. You will be providing strong architectural guidance to development teams around implementation of services and best practices for hybrid cloud deployments. You'll work with the teams spanning all of HPE to design and deliver our Hybrid Cloud solutions. We’re not learning a new way of doing things – we’re defining the best way to do them.

Cloud Trust : High-Level expertise in design, configuration and deployment of hybrid cloud solutions.

Technical breadth  – Advanced experience with public cloud, hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations and technology management.

Responsibilities:

·  Leads set of software architects responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
·  Leads the overall software architecture for all the GreenLake hybrid cloud.
·  Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
·  Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
·  Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
·  Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
·  Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Skills & Experience:

·  15+ years of software engineering development experience developing and delivering scalable enterprise grade SaaS solutions.
·  10+ years of experience as a Software Architect leading complex private or public cloud products.
·  Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, applications) to deliver end-to-end cloud infrastructure architectures, designs and solutions.
·  Proven experience in architecting, building and delivering private cloud automation.
·  Experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment of PaaS/SaaS software.
·  In-depth experience with one or more of the commonly used cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and PaaS services like Identity, Messaging, Database, Business Data Analytics, Performance, Q2C, Real-time services etc.
·  Good understanding of Virtualization technologies – VMs, Containers, VMWare, KVM, Kubernetes, FaaS
·  Experience in architecting complex Enterprise grade solutions in on-premise and cloud environments.
·  Adept at managing customer relationships, capable of engaging in the business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization including, GM, CTO, Architects, and Executive Engineering Management.
·  Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills.
·  Strong team skills including the ability to lead and be a team player.
·  Experience on a fast paced and agile environment and good understanding of Agile Methodologies.
