Job Description:

   

You will be providing legal services as a key member of the Corporate, Securities and M&A section of HPE’s Legal Department.

In your role as Corporate and M&A Attorney, you will be working on a wide range of transactions and develop your knowledge in respect of M&A and finance matters in EMEA as well as corporate, governance, finance and integration matters on a WW basis. You may also be involved in WW bankruptcy and insolvency matters.

The role encompasses corporate and M&A law advice to Global Tax, Controllership, Treasury and Corporate Development. You will also be the key advisor on corporate and governance matters to country counsels based in all HPE jurisdictions.

The position is in principle based in Geneva (Switzerland), but the candidate can also join part of the team that is based in London (UK).

The ideal candidate is a candidate that would be willing to embrace the corporate and M&A field with an equivalent of LLB or LLM and license to practice in one EU jurisdiction. A 1 to 2 years’ experience in an M&A and corporate law in a top tier private law or the legal department of a large corporation is a plus.

In addition the following are essential:

·  Excellent presentation, writing and organisational skills;
·  Excellent people and communication skills;
·  Ability to adapt to a large and complex structure with varying priorities;
·  Ability to work under pressure to deadlines;
·  Strong work ethics and ability to prioritize and follow through on numerous projects.
