As a CaaS infrastructure solution engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of Container-as-a-service solutions leveraging the HPE Ezmeral Container Platform for HPE GreenLake.  You will implement modern cloud-native infrastructure and delivery workflows of a full stack (infrastructure, platform, workloads) on large-scale container platform clusters using Kubernetes, HPE Ezmeral Container Platform, automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and HPE-development frameworks.  You will work collaboratively with a team of engineers and developers across multiple engineering and development teams in a global workforce.  The role is multi-disciplinary, requiring someone who possesses, or can quickly grow, into a strong technical background in container technologies as well as an ability to understand the full infrastructure stack.   

 

Responsibilities include:  

· 
Develop and validate automated, containerized cloud applications platform solution, including a cloud-ready distributed application architecture for migrating workloads to containers, containerized development workflows, multi-cloud deployments, edge to cloud data pipelines and data fabrics, and integration of the cloud-native infrastructure stack with the container platform and workloads via automated CI/CD pipelines.

Installation and configuration of full stack complex technical environments, including hardware (server, storage, network), OS and Kubernetes platform layers 

· 
Testing and validation of build and deployment, performance and functional aspects of the CaaS solution, executing to program schedules applying Agile concepts 

· 
Interfacing and collaborating with development and engineering teams and driving overall software objectives for the organization 

 

Education  

· 
BE/B.TECH/MS in Computer Science from leading engineering institutions in India/abroad. 

· 
3-5 years of hands-on experience in architecting complex infrastructure stack solutions, with at least 1 year of cloud-native architectural experience 

  

Skills  

· 
Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Google, Azure) and cloud-native infrastructure 

· 
Kubernetes experience a must (CNCF, HPE Ezmeral, OpenShift, Anthos/GKE, AKS, EKS) 

· 
Infrastructure as code expertise highly desired (Terraform) and automation (Ansible, Python, Node.js) experience highly desired 

· 
Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Jenkins) highly desired 

· 
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working with cross functional and remote teams for successful project completion. 

· 
Collaborative and team-oriented 

· 
Attention to detail is task planning, execution and documentation 

· 
Hands-on experience with infrastructure is desired (preferably HPE products)  

· 
Hands-on Linux experience (SuSE, RHEL, CentOS) is desired
