Job Description:

You will be part of the Global Operations BI & Analytics organization of Hewlett Packard Enterprise that instruments Global Operations with a single source of truth across Quote-to-Cash value chain and enables actionable business insights, supported by a modern digital platform. This team’s focus is on standardizing the measurement and reporting processes for global consistency, and deploying modern IT systems to make the enterprise faster and more responsive. This includes the design, development, maintenance & operation of reports, dashboards, solutions, infrastructure, tools and best practices that enable access to and analysis of information for improved and optimized decision making & business performance.

Within this organization you will be leading the Q2C Business Intelligence (BI), managing all measurement, reporting and analysis needs for the Global Operations organization worldwide.  You will be the central point of contact for Global Ops leadership team, ensuring that their BI needs are fulfilled through your team while leveraging your peers in the Sales operations and Supply Chain BI teams. You will lead the instrumentation needed to run and transform Global operations including metrics, measurement processes dashboards and insights to improve operational rigor of Global ops while providing the required visibility and responsiveness to key stakeholders like Sales. Active senior leadership engagement will be key to understand & align with concurrent Global Operations priorities, driving strong global governance across all Global ops teams and providing transparency on BI priorities.

As manager, you will drive the strategic planning and direction of your organization through team vision, performance reviews, resource management and prioritization, career planning and driving motivation within the team.  This will be achieved through strong leadership and timely decision making. 

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Experience in and around BI/Data gathering, analysis, delivery and management.
·  Domain knowledge of Sales ops and Supply chain processes and tools preferable.
·  Excellent communication skills , includes verbal, written and presentation forms; strong influence skills, including presenting and communicating concepts, data, analyses, and findings to senior leadership.
·  Ability to set, measure, and manage team performance.
·  Excellent leadership and supervisory skills , including goal-setting, conflict resolution, performance management, problem solving, valuation and employee engagement.
·  Excellent collaboration, organizational, and program management skills
·  Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within tight deadlines with limited resources or supervision
·  Proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment
·  Manage linkages/network across multiple Global operations teams, understanding of Global ops processes
·  Manage executive communication
·  Solves complex business problems/technical issues through subject matter expertise and within established policies
·  Focuses on strategic issues and manages/monitors high-end operations/tactical activities
·  Advises on the development of overall policies and procedures in consultation with senior management
·  Holds accountability across multi-department areas and significant impacts to organizational strategy
·  Reports to Vice President
·  Critical thinking, asking the right questions, perceiving and managing resistance

Education and Experience:

·  First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
·  Typically 10+ years of experience in a business analysis and analytics related function
·  Typically 2-4 years of people management experience.
