TheBusiness Intelligence Reporting Specialistresearches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new BI applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies.

Responsibilities:

·  Build & Support Enterprise grade BI application.
·  Work closely with team members to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. Provide data that is accurate, congruent, reliable, and is easily accessible.
·  Responsible for the full life cycle development, implementation, production support, and performance tuning of the Data Marts, and Business Intelligence Reporting environments. Support the integration between application databases and real time processing.
·  Perform data analysis mapping business process requirements to data elements.
·  Ascertain source systems for data availability and relationships.
·  Perform data extracts & transformation from source systems to reporting data marts
·  Design and Build Data Model and Physical tables using ETL tools.
·  Build meta data for reporting applications and build reports.
·  Perform administration related tasks across applications, databases and Server
·  Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team. Develops innovative team solutions to complex problems. Contributes to strategic direction for teams.
·  Technical leadership of assigned project.
·  Provide time / resource estimates for assigned projects.
·  May develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.
·  Accountable for the quality of the reports produced, data accuracy and analysis
·  Builds a solid collaborative environment with our counterparts and other organizations
·  Maintains strong relationship with internal and/or external customers and other GSD SC functions
·  Cultivates a customer first focused service culture of flexibility, responsiveness and innovation
·  Daily/weekly/monthly monitoring and reporting and actions taken to improve them
·  Gives proposals for operational improvement / optimizations
·  Supports development of KPI as business transforms
·  Analyses report performance and proposes corrective action plans when needed
·  Makes sure that documentation is up to date with support from the functional manager and team members
·  Ensures follow-up on issues raised and closed the loop communications

Requirements:

·  Bachelor in Science/Business Administration (Operations/Supply Chain)
·  2-5 years of SC experience
·  Minimum of Two (2) years of experience working with data and data analytics development with an excellent grasp of some of following technologies: SQL, SSIS Package automation, Excel Power Query, Excel VBA automation, Access VBA automation
·  Strong English communication skills through: email, phone or face to face
·  Good logical thinking, sensitive with data
·  An operational thought process and the ability to “get things done” with an ability to think laterally and challenge norms
·  Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive results
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills
·  Good problem solving skills
·  Team player
·  Excellent analytical skills
·  Proven ability to prioritize, self-direct and execute at velocity
