Customer Solution Centers are made up of teams that provide remote (offsite) service; customer access, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery. Technical teams focus is to solve various business systems and applications problems for customers, onsite engineering personnel and Authorized Service Providers on standard, specialized or complex system. Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

·  Deliver best-in-class technical solutions to solve customer business challenges 
·  Work independently on the solution to the customer’s technical challenges
·  Work independently or across teams to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships 
·  Should provide high-level and low-level designs for the applications development and
·  Lead the team of middle level and junior resources and guide them to work on the projects
·  Accurate status reporting to the project stake holders and to the management
·  Participate in a chosen technical community or profession to continuously expand your technical knowledge, business acumen, and professional network

Qualification:

·  A bachelor’s degree in Engineering – BE, BTECH or Equivalent.
·  Should have 12+ years of experience in Application Development and Migrations
·  Minimum 6 years of hands on experience in Application development using java/J2EE technologies.  
·  Must have worked on cross technical platforms like AIX,HP-UX, Solaris ,  Linux and Windows applications
·  Must have worked in  java technology upgradation projects like Application Servers Version upgradation ( WebLogic lower version to higher etc.), Application server porting from one vendor to other (WebLogic to JBOSS etc. ), other SOA infrastructure and messaging middleware migrations, re-hosting the applications on different Servers ( like HP-UX to RHEL )  or hosting the Application on cloud infrastructure etc.
·  Must have good exposure to Java API development, integration & management
·  Must have good exposure to Frameworks like Spring, Struts etc.
·  Must have worked on a complex business environment and have executed technical projects.
·  Must have worked in Linux environment for at least 3 years
·  Minimum 4+ years of experience in Unix/Linux Shell scripting ( Ksh, csh and Bash shell). Preferably with application migration and hosting experience from UNIX to Linux.
·  Good problem solving skills
·  Self-starter and experienced in working with the team
·  Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders like Developers, business analysts, and business Stakeholders
·  Typically worked on following technologies but not limiting to:Java, J2EE, JavaScript, NodeJS, AngularJS, Middleware technologies like JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, different Message Broker products, Spring MVC, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS 3, HTML 5, Spring, Struts, Shell Scripting.
·  Must have exposure to middleware configuration updates
·  Good to have Familiarity with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
·  Good to have Familiarity with Platform as Service with  Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS Elastic Beanstalk
·  Experience on building high performance, high availability & scalable systems
·  Experience with Devops and Agile development methodologies
