In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management,
financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.

We are looking for an Accounting Expert based in Amstelveen to support the holding companies accounting group.

Description

· Provides standard to moderately complex financial support that is either transactional or analytical for a financial function or a business.
· Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to actively ensure basic financial analysis needs are met.
· Handles moderately complex business issues on a routine basis.
· Provides analytic support to business initiatives.
· Develops a deeper understanding of the company•s financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the business.
· Ability to influence a particular cost center within a business, typically interacting with managers.
Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes of several holding and finance entities
· Ensure integrity of the accounting books and records in accordance with US and Local GAAP and Company accounting policies, and ensure a strong system of internal controls over the accuracy of financial reporting
· Preparation of accounting entries with respect to intercompany financing, dividends and capitalizations
· Liaising with Shared Service Centers with respect to the accounting of before mentioned intercompany financing entities
· Act as a point of contact for the Treasury, International Tax and Legal department
· Initiating projects aiming at cost savings, process optimization and implementation of new tools

Desired profile

Qualifications:

·  University or Bachelor's degree with focus in economics and accounting
·  Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably experience with Big-4
·  Affinity with automation, strong knowledge of Excel and SAP/R3 (pre)
·  Self-starter, accurate and result oriented
·  Excellent analytical skills
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Fluent in English and Dutch (verbally & written)
