AT METAL division

Kwazulu Natal- Durban

What we offer

· Ensure that the present customer needs are satisfied with the services rendered and to maintain good working relations with both present and prospective customers.
· Ensure that potential new business at present and prospective customers is identified in order to increase market share and increase profitability. (BUSINESS GROWTH)
· Ensure that all business targets for the business segment is achieved or out performed, by maintaining good control over costs and conducting regular profitability analyses.
· To represent Henkel South Africa, both technically and chemically on all areas of business, at the Metal Coil, Metal packaging and Automotive sub suppliers.
· Ensure that the present customer needs are satisfied with the services rendered and to maintain good working relations with both present and prospective customers.
· Ensure that potential new business at present and prospective customers is identified in order to increase market share and increase profitability. (BUSINESS GROWTH)
· Ensure that all business targets for the business segment is achieved or out performed, by maintaining good control over costs and conducting regular profitability analyses.
· Responsible for production costing Minimization of delivery costs Account profitability Account Quality standards Stock control at warehouse in Durban as well as at customers.
· Coordinates deliveries Cost centre management Investigation of non-conformances Providing forecast per customer Business growth in the region 
· Weekly stock review at customers, the coordinating of customer orders to our buying department and control/feedback of the deliveries to the customers. 
· The collection of samples from customer sites and the reporting of results to the customers.
· Certain instances samples will need to be tested at customer sites. 
· Compile monthly forecasts according to customer expectations and planning. Submitting of forecasts to sales administration. 
· Supply customers with technical information and support as and when required. 
· Identify and obtain potential new customers and business to grow market share. 
· Conduct profitability analyses on regular intervals to ensure that the set margins are achieved and to negotiate new prices or price adjustments with customers when required.
· Checking, controlling and delivery of invoices to customers. Resolving account queries with customers. 
· Compose month end sales and profitability report for Business Unit Manager on the various customers and key focus areas. 
· Manage projects in Capris regarding new business developments within the area.
· The conducting of line trials on customer sites and the reporting there of. 
· First line of response to customer complaint.

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS - Degree or diploma in chemistry and suitable commercial qualification.
·  EXPERIENCE - At least 3 years' experience in technical sales position in an automotive process environment.
·  The person must be a self driver.
·  Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision.
·  Must have good technical commercial and people skills
·  Must have effective communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels.
·  Must be able to work within a team relationship with Henkel and customer personnel. •
·  Must be available to service customer production hours if so required.
·  Must be able and willing to travel extensively and spend extended periods away from his home.
