Working within a highly dedicated and passionate team, our Assistant Brand Managers are responsible for learning the beauty market and generating insights on industry needs and trends. The successful candidate possesses a mix of analytic (market research, portfolio analysis, sales data analysis), and creative (eye for photography, beauty mindset & fashion trend identification) skills, along with lateral thinking & a hardworking outlook.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Creative & Product Development
· Consistently inventive and able to provide out of the box solutions on concept ideas
· Drive innovation in all fields of product creation, from packaging to formula to art deco
· Assist on photo/video shoots from concept to execution
· Develop a strong connection to the professional beauty industry with field visits, trade show attendance, etc

Market Analysis, Research & Portfolio Development
· Analyzing sales data (excel) and creating insights on sales & customers data
· Understand / bring key insights from current and future market trends and dynamics
· Collaborate with and support as needed cross functional departments (Key account managers, sales, R&D, supply chain, education teams)

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  Full Time Employment
·  Must be LA Area Based
·  Travel Required 10%
·  Bachelors degree
·  2+ years' experience in product development, trade marketing, or innovation roles
·  Beauty experience preferred

·  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convince & influence
·  Passion for the beauty/fashion industry
·  Developing understanding of sub-disciplines such as e-comm, digital, events, and PR
