Store Manager, Abu Dhabi_ United Arab Emirates
We are looking for an inspiring leader who will support his/her team to achieve the excellence in delivery of Gucci retail experience.
Drive the business
· Develops the growth and profitability of the Store by defining actions plans to ensure achievement of
the targets
· Planning, prioritising and engaging the team with short, medium and long term goals
· Ensures that all measures are taken to maximize productivity
Maximize the business potential and sales
· Builds up relationships with outside potential business providers (VIP/hotels/restaurants/ personal shoppers etc.)
· Analyzes the business potential of the Store and ensures the FTEs needed
· Monitors and coaches Sales Associates to make sure up- selling and cross-selling techniques are known
and mastered
· Provides qualitative customers' feedback to the office functions
· Collaborates with the PR team to organise events to achieve short and long term returns
Maximize the existing customers and enlarge the new client base
· Develops the relationship with top/key customers
· Makes proposals based on CRM analysis in partnership with In-Store CRM Specialist for developing
and executing clienteling actions with both locals and tourists
· Monitors clients data quality and proper use of Client Book for defining and developing specific clienteling action plans
· Manages customer issues/complains and ensures customer by determining optimal solutions (assuring after sales)
Build effective team
· Builds a positive environment in which people deliver willingly and give their best
· Shares vision, communicates and translates company/group strategy
· Engages and empowers the team through giving responsibility, delegation and exposure
Motivate/Retain/ Evaluate People
· Conducts regular review on staff performance through monthly touch base and year end appraisal,
defining individual development plans (coaching, special projects, task delegation, training)
· Defines the training needs to improve knowledge and capabilities
· Identifies and develops high talent in order to satisfy future organizational needs
Manage the Inventory
· Monitors stock organization and flow of merchandise
· Ensures availability of merchandise and services, maintaining inventories
· Gives effective feedback to the Buying team regarding product collection
Know the market and the competitors
· Evaluates Competitors through mystery visits
· Be up-to date about competitor pricing, mark down, promotions on common product categories
· Develops effective networking across the territory and ensures shared knowledge
Desired profile
Requirements:
· Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial approach in driving the business
· Minimum 3 years of front line management experience with a global luxury retail brand
· Lead by example in delivery of excellent customer service
· Ability to build rapport and long lasting relationships with clients
· Experience in training and development of sub-ordinates
· Understanding of back of the house operations
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language , Arabic language is
an advantage
