Assistant Buyer_ Gucci MEAI

This is a unique opportunity for junior buyers to gain multinational experience in one of the top luxury fashion brands of the world.

Responsibilities:

Weekly:
· Running reports by location and product categories as required:
Sales Update Report
Sell Thru Update Report
Stock & Delivery Report
Best Sellers Report
Weekly general feedback report for Managers Meeting
· Administer special customer orders
· Attend marketing queries and requests
· Provide general support to stores
· Conduct store visits to update the Buying Team
Monthly:
· Monitor Auto Replenishment System and Target Stock Level tools
· Monitor delivery windows and make necessary cancellations along with the buyers authorization
· Monitor and flag any price changes to Buyers
· Competitor price analysis and summary of new products launched
Seasonal:
· Pre-buying preparation: sell thru by category, style and size
· Check order confirmations
· Creation of visual assortments by category
· Assist buyers with creation of training presentations
· Liaise with headquarters for training samples
· Manage target stock levels for new styles following guidance of the Buyers
· Support the Buyers with markdowns entries on the system
· Update the Training Manual with any new procedures, reports and handy hints
· Booking of travel and buying appointments for Buyers

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements:
·  2 - 4 years experience gained within the Fashion Buying/ Merchandising Department of an international brand across multiple stores/locations
·  Passion and keen interest to build own career in fashion
·  Strong analytical/ numbers skills
·  Ability to manage and analyse high volume of data and pricing in different currencies
·  Ability to multi task
·  Strong planning and organisational skills
·  Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (all essential)
·  Excellent communication skills in English language
·  No restriction to travel (Europe and GCC)
