The Trade Deductions Analyst serves as a liaison between the sales, accounting and controlling departments; to ensure that promotional activity and sales agreements are properly accrued and paid in line with budget objectives and internal control requirements. Specific duties include:

·  Accounts Receivable (REBATES MODULE)
·  Responsible for entering all vendor agreements on ongoing basis
·  Revise vendor agreement in the course of the year
·  Audit the coding from Financial Shared Service team member and inform them in case the code is wrong
·  Responsible for coding each deduction with the corresponding agreement number, by taking backup from the drive daily
·  Enter each debit memo into the rebate module to create a credit
·  Send cash applications to Financial Shared Service team in Excel spreadsheet with all the corresponding credits and debits
·  Challenge and dispute invalid claims with the help of Sales, Reps and Marketing
·  O&A (Over & Above) + Clearance Markdown
·  Enter the O&A/Markdown agreements in the rebate module
·  Prepare and distribute relevant/comprehensive reporting to ensure budget targets are met ($ deducted, $ accrued, $ budgeted)
·  Responsible for entering and clearing O&A/Markdown into the rebate module
·  Rollbacks
·  Work with Key Account Manager to review the promotions of the month
·  Enter the Rollback agreements in the rebate module
·  Other responsibilities as required related to Rebates Module
·  Serve as key contact for internal and external auditors on customer audits and support key stakeholders
·  Ensure that the department adheres to internal and local guideline for sales deduction and reporting
·  Maintain clear and easy access to signed agreement and deduction memo
·  Work with Financial Analyst and Finance Director to set and review yearly budget
·  Investigate and resolve blocking and technical issues with local IT regarding SAP
·  Assist with analyzing open chargeback with the goal of keeping Rebates module amount as low as possible and as current as possible


·  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
·  Minimum 3 years of experience in sales deductions, rebates, coop, pricing and promotions
·  Proficiency in using SAP is a strong plus
·  Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, advanced formulas, charts, linking spreadsheets, macros)
·  Strong organization, interpersonal & communication skills
·  Strong analytical skills and attentive to details
·  Ability to manage heavy correspondence and workload
·  Ability to maintain accurate records
·  Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced team environment
