BUYER / PLANNER

Job description

MISSION :

The Buyer/Planner has the overall responsibility of performing production planning and procurement functions for identified product line(s). Specific duties include:
· Define and create Production Schedules based on the MPS
· Monitor MRP calculation and create Purchasing Orders within suppliers lead time
· Maintain Purchase Order Dates and Deliveries through Supplier communications
· Coordinate the shipments and deliveries to/from Supply Chain / Sub-Contractors
· Monitor all transactions associated with Production Orders and semi-finished inventory levels
· Monitor Bill of Material (BOM) and Routing accuracy within ERP System
· Communicate regularly with the Master Scheduler to fully understand any issues related to the demand/supply chain within the production process
· Identify any policy/procedural requirements or improvement opportunities
· Provide weekly, monthly or quarterly reports / analysis as scheduled or required

Desired profile

Qualifications :

PROFILE:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Business Management (Supply Chain Operations/Finance) or equivalent experience
·  2 years of experience in material planning and supply chain
·  APICS Certification is preferred
·  Proficient in using Microsoft Office
