The Purchasing Agent reports to the Controller and is responsible for material procurement, as well as establishing and maintaining the relationship between Vendor/Supplier and Client. With the overall goal of improving the process while ensuring all purchasing needs are being met.
Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with inventory control systems.
PC literate – MS Office Environment, MRP (SAP experience a plus).
Understanding manufacturing process and “how things are built”.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player.
