The opportunity

 

For our team in Luxembourg, within the product evaluation department you will have to :

•Perform objective evaluation of tire performance : Instrumented tests : braking, aquaplaning, objective noise, wet homologation test for passenger, light truck and truck tires
•Create and communicate tire performance reports to Goodyear's tire development engineers, project managers and development engineers
•Participate to offsite testing session (winter test and other test remote locations including several weeks sessions)
•Support product demonstrations to tire dealers and journalists
•Reinforce activities coordination: support test dispatching and scheduling, liaise with logistic team

 

To join our team you will need:

  

Education:

The candidate must have at least successfully completed a Bachelor Engineering Degree in Mechanics or in Automotive with experience or equivalent experience

Languages:

English is a must. German and/or French is an asset

Experience:

Above average car control

Team work accomplishments is an asset

Skills & Qualifications:

•The candidate needs to have a truck driving license
•Willing to be flexible in terms of working hours
•Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
•Knowledge of MS Office, Excel basis being mandatory
•Ability to use test instruments
•Basic understanding of automobile/tire function
•Ability to react on last minute changes
•Display a high degree of credibility, integrity and enthusiasm
•Team player and good communication skills
