Role Summary/Purpose
This role is working in PCBA board test on 2nd shift.
Essential Responsibilities
In the role of Technician I, you will:
· Focus on troubleshooting electronics manufacturing equipment
· Focus on productivity, safety, quality and cost improvements
· Operate and diagnose equipment malfunction
· Develop a working relationships with operators, engineers, facilities, sourcing, and maintenance teams
· Act independently on projects and equipment using technical abilities
· Develop skills to become a technology resource for the PCBA department and other production areas, as directed
· Work individually and on teams to improve various areas of the department
· Learn and use Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of production, equipment, tests, and product
Qualifications/Requirements
· Associate’s Degree in Electronic Technology or technical field from an accredited college or university
Eligibility Requirements:
· Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
· Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, as required
· Exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
· Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, as required
· Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
· Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
· Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
· Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
· Work a 2nd shift position
