Role Summary/Purpose
You will serve as a key member of a team of Sourcing Recruiters, Recruiters and Coordinators to acquire amazing talent for GE.
Recruiting Specialist and University Recruiter hiring Interns, Graduates and Apprentices into GE Digital and Software businesses across Europe and MENAT; Actively engaged with Universities in order to attract the best early careers talent into technical and commercial teams.
Essential Responsibilities
Ensure day-to-day operational effectiveness and quality talent acquisition outcomes within specific functional areas, establishing a culture of shared success
Partner with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and DTA team members to implement TA strategies for a blend of digital roles, primarily Early careers programs, including Internship hiring, Graduate recruitment and Apprenticeship campaigns (EMEA)
Conduct intake sessions with Hiring Managers, establish process and communication expectations as required for the hiring projects
Utilize internal or active candidate pipelines to identify the best talent for digital requisitions and track recruitment activities through the ATS and/or CRM
Occasionally assess candidates using available job description information, technical screens and test resources
Leverage capacity to support standard recruitment needs to address spikes in hiring volume
Set high recruitment standards, maintaining operational excellence and compliance. Present recruitment metrics as required
Ensure that the DTA process is in compliance with all federal regulations including immigration,
Apply values, policies, procedures and precedent to make timely, routine decisions
Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care
Deliver outstanding customer and candidate experiences
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and good technical sourcing/ University recruiting domain experience OR High School Diploma/GED and strong demonstrated University recruiting domain experience and/or equivalent experience
Desired Characteristics
Prior experience in a digital-oriented Talent Acquisition organization, with experience in a technology environment preferred
Skilled in talent sourcing techniques including Boolean, ATS/CRM sourcing tools, social media, and online niche resources
Skilled in leveraging recruitment tools and technologies through end-to-end recruiting lifecycle
Proven, problem solving skills inclusive of excellent candidate experience
Strong organizational, project management and events organizing expertise
Possess excellent detail orientation, planning and time management skills
Ability to analyze business challenges and provide recruiting solutions
Building partnerships, using the trust created to provide effective relationships
