Role Summary/Purpose

This is a cross-functional discipline and considers the technical needs of business/customers to build quality products. Activities include design and optimization of requirements to define the system and verify they are executed from concept to operation. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities

Conducts component and product integration. All activities that span multiple components and products and are concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance. Manages product requirements and flow down. Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product, including system level testing. Responsible for defining product requirements for the module / component teams. Manages interface between components and doing organizations. Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components. manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system (manages the how). Executes routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision. Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information. Works within a team setting and / or under guidance. Alternatively: executing routine but complex analysis.
Qualifications/Requirements

BS Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering.
Desired Characteristics

Exposure to medical industry.
Exposure to systems and software engineering.
Competency with system modelling tools, UML, SysML, etc.
Competency with system testing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
