Role Summary/Purpose

The GE Healthcare Sourcing organization is part of the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and has the oversight of $4B direct material & $4B indirect spend, manages the relationship with all Suppliers for GE Healthcare and is consistently delivering profit increase for GE Healthcare through Material Cost Reduction.
The Global Sourcing FP&A Analyst will focus on planning, analysis, forecasting and reporting for the ISC-Sourcing team.
Essential Responsibilities

• Support estimates/actuals/reviews for internal and GE Healthcare reporting. Provide explanations and analysis of performance compared to Operating Plan, prior estimate, prior year and prior quarter. Prepare presentations for senior management reviews. Explain difference between ledger P&L and productivity metrics for Sourcing performance.
• Support annual budget process, including recast/standards changes. Coordinate timing/target setting across organization and work cross functionally with other GEHC teams to analyze/agree on target adjustments.
• Manage all FP&A activities and provide clarity around the ISC Sourcing $80M Base Cost.
• Drive simplification activities to improve reporting efficiencies and provide details to operating teams to target incremental operating efficiencies or identify gaps to plan. Develop tools to improve pacing analytics as well as improve regular reporting for internal reports as well as weekly CFO publications
• Consolidating actual operating performance and reporting results
• Drive ISC-Sourcing quarterly and annual closing processes; partner with Sourcing Finance team to ensure timely closing and limited variability on final results.
Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration and minimum of three years of financial work experience.
2. Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
3. Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas
4. Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
5. Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros). Exceptional Powerpoint skills and pitch preparation.
6. Fluency in English
7. Confidence / Assertiveness: possess influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives
8. Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others

6. Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP); or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs
7. Masters or BA Degree in Finance/Business Administration
8. Prior supply chain finance experience
