Als Stralingsdeskundige maak je deel uit van het EHS team van GE Healthcare Eindhoven.

As a Radiation expert you are part of the EHS team of GE Healthcare Eindhoven.
Essential Responsibilities

GE Healthcare Eindhoven, wereldwijd de grootste producent van ultra puur 123I biedt jou een plek als parttime stralingsdeskundige aan. Naast 123I produceert GE Healthcare Eindhoven ook 18F en 81mkr. De productie vindt plaats met een IBA Cyclone-30 op verschillende, zelf ontworpen, target systemen.

De geproduceerde radionucliden worden radio farmaceutisch tot een eindproduct bereidt binnen een laboratoriumomgeving met diverse cleanrooms waar volgens GMP gewerkt wordt. Via de weg en lucht worden deze producten verspreidt binnen Europa en sinds kort ook ver daarbuiten.

GE Healthcare Eindhoven werkt binnen Nederland samen met 3 radiofarmaca apotheken welke gevestigd zijn in Eindhoven, Leiderdorp en Zwolle. Hier worden onder andere de producten die in Eindhoven gemaakt worden, maar ook andere radionucliden die ingekocht worden, op patiëntniveau bereidt.

GE Healthcare Eindhoven heeft een complexvergunning aanvraag ingediend om al deze activiteiten binnen één vergunning te bundelen. Als stralingsdeskundige ben je over het gehele proces betrokken en verantwoordelijk voor de stralingsveiligheid. Je onderhoudt nauwe contacten met de technische dienst voor optimalisatie van afschermingen en processen en geeft interne medewerkers en externe contractoren training ten aanzien van stralingsveiligheid. Ook ben je verantwoordelijk voor rapportage van onder andere lozingen, stralingsmetingen en houdt adequaat toezicht op werkzaamheden en (wettelijke) verplichtingen.

GE Healthcare Eindhoven, the world's largest producer of ultra-pure 123I, offers you a place as a part-time radiation expert. In addition to 123I, GE Healthcare Eindhoven also produces 18F and 81mkr. The production takes place with an IBA Cyclone-30 on different, self-designed, target systems.

The radionuclides produced are prepared radio-pharmaceutically to produce a final product in a laboratory environment with various cleanrooms under GMP restrictions. Through the road and air these products are distributed within Europe and recently also far beyond.

GE Healthcare Eindhoven works in the Netherlands together with 3 radiopharmaceutical pharmacies which are located in Eindhoven, Leiderdorp and Zwolle. Here syringes are prepared with the radioactive products made in Eindhoven, but also other radionuclides that our bought in.

GE Healthcare Eindhoven has submitted a complex permit application to bundle all these activities within one permit. As a radiation expert, you are involved in the entire process and are responsible for radiation safety. You maintain close contacts with the technical service for optimize shielding, processes and train internal employees and external contractors with regard to radiation safety. You are also responsible for reporting, among other things, discharges, radiation measurements and adequately supervising work and (legal) obligations.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Afgeronde studie op HBO niveau en/of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
·  In het bezit van een diploma Coördinerend Stralingsdeskundige (Niveau 3) of een niveau 4a/b met de intentie tot het behalen van een diploma Coördinerend
Stralingsdeskundige
·  Je kunt helder bondig en duidelijk communiceren in woord en geschrift
·  Je beschikt over uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden
·  Tevens ben je bereid om bereikbaarheidsdiensten te draaien
·  De functie is voor maximaal 28 uur per week

·  Completed study at HBO level and / or equivalent through experience
·  In possession of a coordinating Radiation Expert (Level 3) or a level 4a / b with the intention to obtain a degree Coordinating Radiation Expert
·  You can clearly and concisely communicate in word and writing
·  You have excellent organizational skills
·  You are also prepared to run accessibility services (back shifts)
·  The function is for a maximum of 28 hours per week
