Role Summary/Purpose
As a Staff Software Architect for GE Healthcare you will be part of a team leading the software architecture activities for Multi Vendor technology solutions. These solutions integrate SW apps and platforms, and compute HW across the multiple non GE Imaging modalities and platforms.
Essential Responsibilities
In addition to defining the next generation digital architecture for Multi Vendor, you will be working on multiple Proof of Concept (POC) projects to evaluate & risk retire various technologies, partners, and solutions related to remote service capabilities.
In this role, you will:
· Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
· Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
· Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
· Support the development software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
· Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Qualifications/Requirements
Degree Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Years of Experience: A minimum 6 years professional experience OR Masters degree with 4 years relevant experience
Education in: Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

· Demonstrated working knowledge in the following: Linux & Windows administration, Java, C/C++, Python, PHP, TCP/IP, Docker, Enterprise network architecture, Tomcat, secure certificates, Apache Guacamole, HTML 5, CSS 3 GUI design elements, SQL/No SQL
Experience with: Network connectivity & enterprise software troubleshooting
